About Us
My name is Wendy and I have been married to my husband Mike for 13
years now. We have 4 children; 2 boys and 2 girls. The boys are 18 years
and 9 years, and the girls are 5 years and 3 years.
We have 1 black lab named Annie.
We also have some other pets in our home; and they are 2 Guinea pigs.
Before opening my home for children I worked outside of the home for
almost 10 years at an optical lab. So when I say I know how it feels to
leave your child for 10 hours a day and not know whether he/she is being
taken care of it's because I have been there. I know exactly how it feels.
I started my home childcare in 2004 when I was looking for a provider for
my then 3 kids; upon looking I was not finding what I wanted in a provider
or anyone I felt comfortable with and that's when I choose to start my own
daycare. And like most everything you have to find your way in what you are
doing. And there are good providers it's just finding the one that you are
comfortable with.
I have received 24 training clock hours for my child care.
I have also received 3 clock hours for First Aid/CPR Training.
I continuously take more trainings to improve my childcare.
Important Policy Information Regarding my daycare:
*There are no outside toys brought into my home unless asked for
because of something curriculum related.
*No outside food is allowed unless for a special occasion and discussed
with me before hand.
